A measurement of the specific surface area of DLX6000 microspheres using the method of vapor pressure adsorption isothermometry yields a value of 10. 0 m**2/g. This observation confirms the assertion of L. J. Friedman et al. that the prominent minimum in the NMR spin-lattice relaxation rate that they observed in the **1**9F spins of this substrate occurs just at the completion of a monolayer of adsorbed **3He.
