EXPERIMENTAL CONFIRMATION OF THE ODDERON APPROACH PREDICTIONS FOR PBARP ELASTIC-SCATTERING AT TEVATRON ENERGIES

摘要
It is shown that the Tevatron results are in agreement with our maximal odderon approach predictions. This maximal odderon approach is the only existing theoretical picture which fits all the present elastic pp and ppBAR data from square-root s = 10 GeV up to square-root s = 1.8 TeV. However precise measurements of (rho, simga-T) correlations at Tevatron energies have to be done before ruling out the rival new-threshold approach. The role of new experiments and accelerators and especially the importance of having both pp and ppBAR options at LHC energy for detecting new physics effects are also underlined.
