摘要
Radionuclides such as Be-7 Co-60, Zn-65, and Mn-54 are present in the magnet cooling water of a proton accelerator. These nuclides may be dissolved or bound to colloids and pass through micrometric filters below 100 nm. A cooling water purification strategy is discussed. The most efficient procedure uses a cation exchanger in H+ form.
