MAGNETIC TRANSITION IN FERROMAGNETICALLY COUPLED DIMER OF NI(II) WITH DI-MU-AZIDO BRIDGE

摘要
The structure of the new compound [Ni(Medpt)(N3)2]2 (Medpt = 3,3'-Diamino-N-methyl-dipropylamine), consists of isolated dinuclear units in which two nickel (II) ions are linked through the N-end of two N-azide bridging groups. The distances and angles of the central unit Ni2N2 are different at 290 and 190 K, being the first quasi-symmetric ring at room temperature and showing a asymmetrization at low temperature. This compound shows a magnetic transition that gives different ferromagnetic behavior for both structures.
