摘要：
Osteoporosis in patients with Cushing's syndrome and in patients taking glucocorticoids is particularly severe because of the direct suppressive effect of glucocorticoids on osteoblastic function. Knowledge of several other direct and indirect mechanisms of bone loss from excess glucocorticoids increases. Application of that knowledge has resulted in new therapeutic approaches to this important and common disorder.
