摘要
The ECETOC method for determining the anaerobic biodegradation of organic compounds was evaluated by a ring test with palmitic acid and polyethyleneglycol 400 and improved to become an International Standard. The method is based on measuring the pressure of the produced biogas and the dissolved carbon dioxide as inorganic carbon at the end of the test. The results of the ring test and a description of the method are presented.
