摘要:
Using exact diagonalisation techniques we study the role of the nearest neighbour coulomb repulsion in the copper-oxide chain. It is shown that for hole doping this induces phase separation, as well as a neutral-ionic transition, when the Cu2+ --> Cu+ charge fluctuations dominate. In the proximity of the phase separation region the superconducting correlations are the most divergent.
