HEAT-TRANSFER AND FLUID DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF GAS-FLUIDIZED BEDS UNDER PRESSURE

摘要
Heat transfer coefficients between vertical thermal probes and pressurized beds under slugging flow conditions are presented. Void properties describing the aggregative nature of gas-fluidized beds have also been detected by means of capacitance probes. Experimental heat transfer data in fluidized beds are predicted by a model which makes use of void properties and thermal measurements in flowing beds.
