DESCRIPTION OF THE 0-UPSILON-BETA-BETA DECAY OF CA-48, GE-76, MO-100, TE-128, TE-130

摘要
The neutrinoless double-beta decay of the experimentally interesting A = 48, 76, 100, 128 and 130 systems is examined in the context of the QRPA formalism without invoking the closure approximation. All possible nuclear matrix elements are calculated including the nucleon recoil contributions as well as those resulting from the exchange of heavy intermediate Majorana neutrinos. Using the best presently available experimental limit T1/2exp(Ov) > 1.1 x 10(24)y the following limits on the lepton violating parameters are extracted: \[m(v)]\ < 2.0 eV, [1/M(N)]R-1 greater-than-or-equal-to 6.7 x 10(4) GeV, lambda less-than-or-equal-to 3.3 x 10(-6) and eta less-than-or-equal-to 4.2 x 10(-8).
