摘要
Cr1-x Cux (X=30-70at%) alloys having positive enthalpies of mixing were synthesized by mechanical alloying from pure chromium and copper powders. It was found that nanocrystalline structures were formed by MA, and that when Cr-rich alloys were mechanically alloyed in atmospheres containing air or nitrogen gas, the nanocrystalline structure transformed to an amorphous structure. A mechanism for the grain refinement and the amorphization was proposed. © 1990.
