摘要
The molecular weight (M//w) and temperature (T) dependence of the expansion factor and the second virial coefficient of polyacrylamide (PAAm) in dilute solution are investigated. The theoretical predictions of the blob and of the modified Flory's theory are compared with experimental results on polystyrene. Experimental data, which are tabulated and plotted, are discussed on theoretical terms. The theta temperature for PAAm in water has been found to be minus 8 degree C.
