THE INFLUENCE OF HOMONUCLEAR DIPOLAR INTERACTION ON THE RESIDUAL LINEWIDTHS OF MAS NMR-SPECTRA

摘要
It is shown theoretically that at not too low spinning rates the residual linewidths of magic-angle-spinning (MAS) NMR spectra of solids with resonant spin I= 1 2 nuclei and dominant homonuclear dipolar interactions are proportional to the square of the static linewidhts and inversely proportional to the rotational frequency. The absolute values depend on the spatial arrangement of the spins and the calculated values are in reasonable agreement with experimental results of recent 1H MAS NMR experiments. © 1990.
