摘要
We study the heavy fermion properties of YbPd2Si2 by resistivity, Hall effect and magnetoresistance. A new phase is found below 1.4 K. The absence of hyperfine field in the Mossbauer experiment below 1.4 K, suggests that the observed phase arises from weak magnetic correlations present in the Fermi liquid. The extreme sensitivity to small applied magnetic fields indicates that the low temperature phase is one of the more unstable even observed in HF systems.
