摘要
The reaction between RuCl(PPh3)2(eta-C5H5) and LiC6H4Me-p afforded RU(C6H4Me-p)(PPh3)2(eta-C5H5) (76%), structurally characterized by a single-crystal X-ray study at c. 295 K. Crystals are triclinic, P1BAR, a 16-607(4), b 11 . 397(3), c 11 . 076(5) angstrom, alpha 9490(3), beta 99 . 52(3), gamma-90 . 43(2)-degrees, Z 2; R was 0 . 036 for 6246 'observed' diffractometer reflections. The p-tolyl moiety is sigma-bonded to the ruthenium with an Ru-C bond length of 2 . 122(3) angstrom. This value is compared with others found for Ru-C(sp(n)) bonds (n = 1-3) in sigma-bond complexes; these range from 2 . 013(6) to 2 . 18 angstrom.
