摘要
The phenomenon in a fracture process under a tensile creep state of a short carbon fiber (15% by weight content) nylon 6 notched specimen was observed from the point of view in various fields by an acoustic emission (AE) technique. The pattern of AE events indicates the same feature as the creep relation and are independent of the stress level; in both states just after loading and before failure of the specimen many AE events were counted. Moreover, the cumulative number of AE events relate to the debonding fiber from the matrix and/or the breaking fibers due to crack extension. A similar phenomenon like the Kaiser effect was recognized also in FRTP, that is, when the stress level went down rapidly while in the creep state then AE events decrease dramatically.
