A FOREST-FIRE MODEL AND SOME THOUGHTS ON TURBULENCE

摘要
In the context of a forest-fire model we demonstrate critical scaling behavior in a "turbulent" non-equilibrium system. Energy is injected uniformly, and dissipated on a fractal. Critical exponents are estimated by means of a Monte Carlo renormalization- group calculation. © 1990.
