ELEMENTAL ABUNDANCE ANALYSES WITH DAO SPECTROGRAMS .10. THE MERCURY MANGANESE STARS PI-1 BOOTIS, UPSILON HERCULIS AND HR 7361

摘要
This paper presents fine analyses of three sharp-lined mercury manganese stars: pi-1 Bootis, upsilon-Herculis and HR 7361. The most Hg-rich among the 12 HgMn stars studied in this series is pi-1 Boo. Both it and upsilon-Her are Fe- and Ni-poor. The greatest P and Mn overabundances seen in the HgMn stars occur in HR 7361; this is also the most S-poor and one of the few Ca- and Xe-rich HgMn stars. Some correlations are found between the consistently analysed abundances for the 12 stars. These correlations are expected if radiative diffusive processes are operating.
