摘要
Differential thermal analysis (DTA) was used to determine the high-temperature part of the p-T diagram of CdSe. The slope method was employed for identification of melting temperatures of wurtzite and rocksalt phases of CdSe for pressures up to 17 kbar. A novel method, based on the estimation of the enthalpy of fusion (the area method) was proposed to obtain the coordinates of the wurtzite-rocksalt-liquid triple point. The triple-point pressure of 10.90 kbar and temperature of 1221-degrees-C is in agreement with earlier work of Jayaraman et al.
