摘要
The gain of a 1480 nm pumped erbium-doped fibre amplifier has been measured over the temperature range -40°C to 60°C. The characteristics can be modelled using emission and absorption cross-section data determined for this temperature range. The temperature dependence of the gain spectrum and noise figure are also predicted. © 1990, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.
