摘要
The most critical point in ICP analysis of liquid samples is the nebulization, especially for samples with high salt content. For such applications a new nebulizer, T-2, was constructed and compared with commercial nebulizers. Washout time curves, background equivalent concentrations, detection limits and relative sensitivities measured in the presence of ammonium chloride (0-4 M) and sodium chloride (0, 2 and 4 M) for some elements are presented. In pure aqueous solutions no significant difference in working performance (BEC, DL) of all tested nebulizers was observed. The relative sensitivities obtained with the T-2, however, remained unaffected up to a higher salt content of the samples as compared to the MDSN and the Meinhard nebulizers.
