摘要
Upon photolysis the indenyl and fluorenyl functionalized cyclopentadienyl complexes (eta5-C5H4CMe2R)M(CO)3Me (R = C9H7 (indenyl), C13H9 (fluorenyl); M = Mo, W) and (eta5-C5H4(CH2)3C13H9)W(CO)3Me are dealkylated to give methane, the monomeric tricarbonyl complexes (eta5:eta1-C5H4CMe2C9H6)M(CO)3 and (eta5:eta1-C5H4CMe2C13H8)W(CO)3, and the dinuclear complex [(eta5-C5H4(CH2)3C13H9)W(CO)3]2 (6). The molecular structures of (eta5:eta1-C5H4CMe2C9H6)Mo(CO)3 and (eta5:eta1-C5H4CMe2C13H8)W(CO)3 indicate that the C9H6 Unit is sigma-bonded to the metal via the five-membered ring and the C13H8 moiety via a six-membered ring. The dimeric complex 6 is held together by a comparatively long W-W bond (3.2257(6) angstrom).
