摘要
The recoil directions of both the photoelectron and fragment ion formed in a dissociative photoionisation event are expected to display some anisotropy in the body-fixed frame, and to thus be mutually correlated. This correlation can be examined in electron-ion coincidence measurements, allowing inferences regarding the molecule frame photoelectron angular distributions to be made. Significant correlations are observed for a number of C3v molecules: CF3I, CF3Br, PF3, and NF3.
