摘要
The ability of three different algae in selectively removing silver in aqueous solutions, in the presence of copper, manganese, and zinc in solution, and in artificial sea water was investigated. The ability of the algae to remove silver was pH dependent. Selective removal of silver could be achieved at pH 2. Simultaneous multi-element flame atomic absorption spectrometry facilitated the study of the determination of silver in the presence of other metal ions.
