摘要
The dielectric and electrical properties of Ba1-xSrx TiO3 (x=0.1 to 0.9 at an interval of 0.1) were investigated to find suitable compositions for ceramic capacitors. Some of these compositions showed tremendous improvements in respect of dielectric constant and dissipation factor over pure BaTiO3. The results are discussed based on the effect of Sr2+ on the Curie point of BaTiO3 and the role of compositional inhomogeneity caused in the solid solutions on their electrical resistivity.
