摘要
A mathematical model was developed which describes organics removal, O2 utilization, ammonia-N removal, Pi removal and biomass production in an aggregated microbial suspension containing a uniform floc size and the organics as a soluble biodegradable material. It is applicable to steady-state and transient conditions and to systems experiencing only C oxidation or to systems experiencing C oxidation and nitrification. The model, consisting of 5 partial differential equations and 4 ordinary differential equations, takes into account the flow pattern in the reactor, intraparticle mass transport to O, organics, ammonia-N and Pi and biochemical reactions by the individual cells embedded in the floc.
