摘要:
We propose a simple theory to explain the broad resistive transition observed in the cuprate oxides multilayers, PrBCO/YBCO/PrBCO. In this model the proximity-induced superconductivity is assumed in the semiconducting PrBCO films. The transition temperature is reduced as the thickness of the YBCO film decreases. When the YBCO film has a thickness of a few unit cells the superconducting fluctuations are greatly enhanced. We calculate the fluctuation-enhanced conductance of this system, using the "renormalized Gaussian fluctuation approximation". The calculated result for temperature and the YBCO-film-thickness dependence of the resistance is in good agreement with experiments.
