THE Q-VALUE OF THE ELECTRON-CAPTURE IN PB-205 MEASURED WITH TRANSFER-REACTIONS

摘要
In order to determine the Q-value between Pb-205 and Tl-205, the Q-values of the reactions Tl-205(d, t)Tl-204, Pb-206(d, t)Pb-205 and Tl-205(He-3, d)Pb-206 have been measured and found to be -1288.7(6) keV, -1831.2(5) keV and 1761.7(14) keV, respectively. The energies of these reactions were calibrated with the Gd-158(d, t)Gd-157, Yb-172(d, t)Yb-171, W-184(d, t)W-183 and Re-187(He-3, d)Os-188 reactions. The decay energy of Pb-205 was deduced to be 51.3(6) keV. This value is relevant for solar neutrino measurements.
