PRODUCTION OF PHI-MESON, RHO-MESON AND OMEGA-MESON IN THE HADRONIZATION OF A QUARK GLUON PLASMA

摘要
The production of phi-, omega- and rho-mesons is calculated within the flavour kinetic model, which describes an expanding quark-gluon plasma and its conversion to hadronic matter as a non-equilibrium process. All members of the lowest flavour SU (3) multiplets are included and evaporation of particles from the surface of the system is taken into account. The ratio phi/(rho-0 + omega) rapidly increases with energy and levels off at about 0.09, which is consistent with experimental findings for O + U and S + U collisions at 200 GeV per nucleon.
