摘要
Luminescence of Tm3+-doped YLF single crystals is analyzed with respect to intensity, Stark structure, transition probabilities and lifetimes of separate levels in samples with different Tm concentration. The probabilities of the self-quenching process in this crystal are estimated both experimentally and theoretically. The possibility of diode-pumped IR lasing is considered.
