THE SURFACE BRIGHTNESS OF SPIRAL GALAXIES .2. CORRELATION WITH RADIO-EMISSION

摘要
Correlations between optical surface brightness and the radio properties of spiral galaxies are investigated. It is found that galaxies with high surface brightness are more likely to be strong continuum radio sources and that galaxies with low surface brightness have high 21-cm line emission. © Royal Astronomical Society.
