AN ANALYSIS OF THE ASYMMETRIC POLARIZATION METHOD UNDER CONDITIONS OF RELATIVELY HIGH APPLIED VOLTAGE

摘要
The asymmetric polarization method has been employed to investigate the minority electronic conductivity of predominantly ionically conducting solid electrolytes under conditions in which the ionic conductivity is suppressed. Difficulties are encountered in the conventional treatment of this technique, under conditions of relatively high applied voltages, when significant internal electric fields are generated within the sample. In this work, an analysis of the asymmetric polarization method under conditions of relatively high applied voltages is presented.
