Differential Scanning Calorimetry and H-1-NMR line width measurements have been used to study the structure, organization and mobility of water in methacrylate copolymer networks. A tripartite classification emerged: freezable, mobile and constrained water, however, like the various bipartite classifications it is largely technique-dependent. Different techniques sort and select from a continuum of domain sizes in different ways.
