SOLUTIONS OF THE MICROSCOPIC GORKOV EQUATIONS FOR A SUPERCONDUCTOR IN A STRONG QUANTIZING MAGNETIC-FIELD

摘要
The microscopic Gorkov equations for the superconducting state of a system in a strong quantizing magnetic field are solved; these solutions extend the exact solutions of the corresponding linearized gap equation obtained recently by us. It is found that the orbit-center degeneracies of the quasiparticles imply strong correlations among many Landau states and these are incorporated in the solution presented.
