摘要
We present experiment results obtained near the sol-gel transition of polyurethane copolymer clusters in which the chemical reaction is a polycondensation reaction. The exponent τ characteristic of the mass distribution and the exponent γ characteristic of the growth process of polymer clusters as the gelation threshold is approached are measured. The experimental values found, τ = 2.20 ± 0.04 and γ = 1.71 ± 0.06, are in good agreement with Monte Carlo simulations using the percolation model. Chemical gelation is a critical phenomenon of connectivity belonging to the same universality class as percolation. © 1990.
