摘要
We show that upconversion drastically reduces amplification for Er3+ concentrations of 70-840 ppm by weight. By comparing experimental and simulated characteristics, we obtain an upconversion coefficient of 10(-22) m3/s in Ge/Al/P-doped fused silica.
