摘要
Resolution in micellar electrokinetic chromatography is influenced by many factors. In this study, the use of a systematic optimization scheme, based on the overlapping resolution mapping procedure, for the separation of sixteen dinitrophenyl-derivatized (DNP-) amino acids was demonstrated. The scheme utilized an interpretative optimization approach to predict the optimum buffer pH, surfactant (SDS) concentration and modifier (tetrabutylammonium salt, TBA) concentration. By conducting eleven preplanned experiments, global optimum conditions for the separation within an acceptable analysis time could be obtained.
