摘要
When the acoustic reflex is elicited by continuous sinusoidal Stimulation with frequency range between 1,500 and 8,000 cps the changes in the acoustic impedance slops down fast after onset of stimulation. This appearance may be produced with an electrical model. It is possible to interpret some interesting properties of the acoustic reflex when the model is being examined by tone-bursts stimulation. These properties may be observed, when the acoustic reflex is elicited in man: 1. The changes of the impedance slopes very slowly when the acoustic reflex is elicited with tone-bursts and not with continuous sinusoidal stimulation. 2. The changes of the impedance are greater and 3. the threshold-soundlevel for stimulating the acoustic reflex is lower, when the reflex is elicited with tone-bursts of a determinated length and repeated rate in comparison to the continous sinusoidal stimulation. © 1969 Springer-Verlag.
