摘要
In order to obtain the overall damage level of a protective structure, the values of each variable of the damage criteria should be determined. Assessments by experts result in the production rules for use in a knowledge-based expert system. In cases where conflicting rules occur, fuzzy set operations can be used to solve the problem. The modus ponens deduction technique can be employed for partial matching or development of new rules.
