ENANTIOSELECTIVE CROSS-COUPLING OF VINYL-ELECTROPHILES, ARYL-ELECTROPHILES AND ALLYL-ELECTROPHILES CATALYZED BY NICKEL-COMPLEXES CONTAINING (R,R)-1,2-CYCLOPENTANEDIYLBIS(DIPHENYLPHOSPHINE) AND RELATED LIGANDS

摘要
The cross-coupling of some electrophiles with Grignard reagents catalyzed by nickel complexes of (R,R)-cyclopentane-1,2-diylbis(diphenylphosphine) or the previously unknown enantiomerically pure trans-cyclopentane-1,2-diylbis(di-p-methoxyphenylphosphine) is described. In all reactions investigated the unsubstituted ligand gives better optical yields (up to 55%) than the substituted one.
