摘要
Static and dynamic magnetomechanical properties of Terfenol have been measured over the temperature range -21°C to + 70°C, as a function of bias field. The ratio of the change in magnetostriction to change in magnetisation is used to investigate the magnetisation process. It is concluded that the static and dynamic processes are identical and that rotation makes a significant contribution in the region of bias field corresponding to optimum magnetomechanical coupling. © 1990 IEEE
