Precise isothermal P-x data at 50-degrees-C were measured for the different binary butanol-water systems using a static apparatus with special attention paid to the dilute region. Using these data, parameters for the different G(E) models were fitted and the activity coefficients at infinite dilution were derived from the data at low concentrations using a flexible Legendre polynomial.
