摘要
The electrochemical properties of 3 mum thick CrN(x), Cr(N,O), NiCr (80/20), NiCrTi and Inconel 625 coatings were studied. All coatings were prepared at 200-degrees-C by the plasma beam sputter deposition process on AISI 304 stainless steel substrates with a surface roughness of 0.04 mum. Electrochemical experiments were carried out in acetate buffer solution (pH = 5.6), 0.5 M H2SO4 and 0.5 M NaCl solutions. The microporosity of the samples was evaluated by multisweep cyclic voltammetry. Post-deposition heat treatment at 450-degrees-C proved to have a beneficial effect on the corrosion performance of the CrN coatings.
