摘要
The relationship between the molecular orientation and the optical memory angle of the surface-stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystals was investigated. We have numerically calculated the optical memory angle based on two models of director orientations, the n-director continuous and c-director continuous models, varying the surface pretilt and nonlinearity of deformation of the azimuthal angle and compared the calculation results with the measured memory angle of some FLC samples.
