摘要：

1. 1. Adipose tissue of Sphenodon punctatus Gray and a species of Leiolopisma from New Zealand were incubated in vitro and release of free fatty acids under various conditions studied. 2. 2. The basal release by fat of Leiolopisma was greater than that of Sphenodon. 3. 3. Sphenodon fat was unresponsive to stimulation by noradrenaline or glucagon but responded to combined reptile pituitary extract and dexamethazone stimulation. 4. 4. Leiolopisma fat responded to reptile pituitary extract. © 1969.
