摘要
Hydrogen charging reduces the ductility of both the asquenched and quenched and tempered at 200 degree C microstructure of HT-9. In addition, hydrogen charging changes the tensile fracture mode of the quenched-and-tempered material from void coalescence to what appears to be interlath cleavage. However, retained austenite measurements show that in this steel the reduction in tensile ductility associated with internal hydrogen cannot be attributed to the effect of hydrogen on the mechanical stability of retained austenite.
