摘要
In the family of layered compounds, the transition metal dichalcogenides have acquired considerable importance because of their various applications. The chemical vapor transport technique using halogen (bromine or iodine) as the transporting agent has been found to be suitable for growing the single crystals of layered compounds. This letter reports on the growth of single crystals of MoSe//xTe//2// minus //x and their characterization. The mixed crystals are found to be isomorphous over the complete range of compositions.
