摘要
The theory of a permanent-magnet dc machine that has an axial field and a disk-shaped armature is discussed. Consideration is given to the effect that the distribution of magnetic field in the airgap will have on the generation of emf. The machine parameters in the angular and radial directions are related to this distribution, so that a pole shape may be chosen that maximizes the output power.
