摘要
The addition of a tertiary radical to an electron-deficient alkene proves to be the decisive step in the synthesis of the four-directional cascade polymers 1 and 2, which have no heteroatoms in the initial core, in the branching centers, or in the repeat units. Only the periphery is highly fuctionalized. [GRAPHICS]
