摘要
The kinetics of detachment of particles from flat surfaces is studied in terms of a solution of the Kramers diffusion equation. The force is obtained from a superposition of electrostatic, van der Waals, and Born wall energies. Analytic expression for the fraction of particles remaining inside the potential well is obtained as an explicit function of time. It is shown that the detachment caused by diffusion is not the first-order process.
