摘要
Polycrystalline samples of Pb(Mg1/4Cd1/4Nb1/2)O3 are prepared by a two-stage high-temperature solid-state reaction method. The formation of this complex compound is checked by X-ray diffration (XRD) techniques. XRD analysis provides the structural data. The dielectric properties are measured in the frequency range 10(2) to 10(4) Hz and in the temperature region -180 to +200-degrees-C. The dielectric relaxation and diffuse phase transition is observed and the relaxor behaviour is quite obvious for the above compound.
